What is a staffing platform?

A staffing platform like Cloxy connects businesses that need temporary workers with people looking for flexible shift-based work. Unlike traditional staffing agencies that rely on phone calls and manual processes, Cloxy uses an app to match, verify, and track everything in real-time.

How does the rating system work?

Cloxy has a three-way rating system. Businesses rate workers after each shift. Workers rate the business. Workers also rate their peers (co-workers on the same shift). Ratings are Yes, Maybe, or No with optional comments. This transparent system builds trust for everyone on the platform.

What types of shifts can I post?

Any temporary or part-time shift — restaurants, cafes, hotels, events, retail, warehouses, offices, catering, and more. You set the role, time, pay, and location. Cloxy supports all shift-based work in Ahmedabad.

How are workers verified?

Every worker completes a profile verification during onboarding. After each shift, businesses rate workers on a Yes/Maybe/No scale with optional comments. Peers also rate each other. Workers with 50+ completed shifts and 80%+ positive ratings earn a Pro badge, signalling reliability.

Can I use Cloxy for recurring shifts?

Yes! Save any shift configuration as a reusable template — position, time, pay, location, and requirements. Repost recurring shifts with one tap. You can also star favourite workers and auto-offer future shifts to them.

How does Cloxy verify attendance?

Cloxy offers two tamper-proof clock-in methods. QR Code: businesses display a rotating TOTP-based QR code that changes every 30 seconds — workers scan it to clock in. GPS Geofencing: workers' location is verified against the shift location automatically. Both methods record exact timestamps.

How is Cloxy different from traditional staffing agencies?

Traditional agencies in Ahmedabad rely on phone calls, WhatsApp groups, and manual sign-in sheets. Cloxy replaces all of that with an app. Businesses post shifts and get matched in hours (not days). Workers see pay upfront and apply in one tap. Attendance is verified via QR or GPS. Ratings build trust over time. No middlemen, no hidden fees.

What happens if a worker doesn't show up?

Cloxy has an automated no-show detection system. If a hired worker doesn't clock in by the time the shift ends, they're automatically marked as a no-show. This is recorded on their profile and affects their rating. Businesses can then reopen the shift to find a replacement.

How does pay work on Cloxy?

Businesses set the pay for each shift — either an hourly rate or a flat amount per shift. You see the exact pay before applying, so there are no surprises or hidden deductions. The amount varies by role, duration, and business, but it's always transparent upfront.

Do I need experience to work on Cloxy?

Not necessarily. While some shifts require specific experience, many entry-level roles like event setup, retail help, and warehouse work are open to everyone. Each shift listing shows whether experience is required. Your ratings and completed shift count build your profile over time.

Can I chat with the business before accepting a shift?

Yes! Cloxy has built-in real-time messaging. You can chat directly with any business from a shift listing to ask about dress code, parking, expectations, or anything else. No phone numbers are exchanged — all communication stays in the app.

Is Cloxy safe for workers?

Yes. All businesses are verified during onboarding. Shift details — including pay, time, location, and requirements — are transparent before you apply. GPS and QR clock-in means your attendance is always accurately recorded. You can rate businesses after every shift, and the community reviews help everyone make informed decisions.
